Alex Cobb will take the mound for Baltimore tonight, making this a great spot for the Braves' offense.

Cobb hasn't been as bad as his 7.14 ERA would suggest, but his weak 4.42 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) puts him on pace for his third straight season above 4.40. His strikeout rate is also on pace to be a career-low (14.8%), while his 33.5% hard-hit rate is the second-highest of his career.

Tyler Flowers has built on 2017's .358 wOBA with a .367 to start the 2018 season. Even righty-versus-righty matchups like this one haven't held his production back much, as he has cracked right-handed pitching for a 40.3% hard-hit and 39.1% fly-ball rate over those two seasons, which has translated to a reasonable .335 wOBA.
