The Los Angeles Angels are one of two teams on Thursday's main slate with an implied total north of 5.00 (5.04 as of writing).

Not that Mike Trout needs an exciting matchup to be a top play on a short slate, but Boston's Brian Johnson has allowed a concerning .356 wOBA to right-handed bats this year, making this a good spot.

Trout's .456 wOBA and .323 isolated slugging (ISO) are both on pace to be career highs, and no hitter with at least 20 games played is averaging more than than Trout's 18.8 FanDuel points per game. His numbers against southpaws have been particularly absurd over a small 68-plate-appearance sample this year as he boasts a massive .503 wOBA and .375 ISO in the split.
