J.D. Martinez, OF, Boston Red Sox

You're not going to find any play more productive than J.D. Martinez this season. His 28 home runs are tied for first in the Majors, and his 79 RBI are 10 more than anyone else has. He also ranks third in wOBA (.433) and fourth in ISO (.315) among qualifying hitters.

He is especially deadly against southpaws, and while we don't have a huge sample this year, in 199 plate appearances over the last 2 years, he has rocked left-handers for a .468 wOBA and .373 ISO on a massive 52.0% hard-hit rate.

He also draws a plus matchup tonight, with the Boston Red Sox boasting a 5.46 implied total against Toronto Blue Jays southpaw Ryan Borucki. Borucki only managed a 4.14 xFIP in 13 Triple-A starts this season, and he has opened his Major League career with a mediocre 4.21 SIERA over three starts.
