10 Fantasy Baseball Players to Buy and Sell for Week 16
Buy Jesse Winker
There's a National League rookie who isn't getting nearly enough attention in the Rookie of the Year conversation, and it's mainly because he doesn't play every day. But Cincinnati Reds outfielder Jesse Winker's performance should result in him getting a lot more playing time in the second half.
In 318 plate appearances, Winker is batting .293/.404/.429 with 7 jacks, 42 RBIs and 35 runs scored. Among all rookies with at least 150 plate appearances, only Juan Soto has a better on-base percentage, and only Soto, Austin Meadows and Gleyber Torres have better batting averages. His .365 wOBA is fifth-best among rookies, as is his wRC+ of 128.
If you're in a dynasty league, he's especially valuable, but he's also someone to target in regular leagues, as well.
