George Springer, OF, Houston Astros

The Houston Astros are on the road at Coors Field tonight, leaving them with a 5.40 implied total against Colorado Rockies southpaw Tyler Anderson. Anderson has a middling 4.09 SIERA on the year, and the 41.8% fly-ball rate he's allowing at home makes him a favorable fantasy matchup in the thin air at Coors.

George Springer hasn't had an especially productive season, but he does have a very solid .376 wOBA and .227 isolated slugging (ISO) against left-handed pitching. That's over a fairly small 137 plate appearance sample, and if we go back to include 2017 (up to 301 plate appearances) he has a .396 wOBA and .238 ISO.

He is also expected to bat leadoff for Houston, putting him in an ideal spot to take advantage of what should be a high-scoring game, adding plenty of upside in the way of runs and RBI.
