J.D. Martinez, OF, Boston Red Sox

J.D. Martinez continues to absolutely dominate, leading all hitters in both home runs (31) and RBI (85). His .430 wOBA ranks third among qualifying hitters, while his .321 ISO is good for second.

He's crushing both left- and right-handed pitching this year as well, with a hard-hit rate above 48.0% and soft-hit rate below 10.0% for both splits. Today, he's up against a righty in Minnesota's Kyle Gibson, and with a .445 wOBA and .361 ISO against right-handers, this is a great spot for Martinez.

Gibson also makes for something of a fantasy-friendly matchup, sporting a 4.11 SIERA on the year and putting him on pace for his sixth consecutive season with a mark worse than 4.10. He's also allowing a career-worst 38.2% hard-hit rate, which is very worrying against a guy who can crush the ball like Martinez.
