Ender Inciarte, OF, Atlanta Braves

Speedster Ender Inciarte has enjoyed a solid 2018 season, swiping a career-best 23 bags through 31 chances and 95 games. Where Inciarte has struggled is against southpaws, and with Rich Hill taking the mound for the Los Angeles Dodgers, other outfield options make a lot more sense.

Inciarte has posted some tough stats in this split in 2018, recording only a .255 wOBA, .030 ISO, and 26.5% hard-hit rate. In addition, Hill has been nasty against lefties, allowing only three extra-base hits (all doubles) en route to a .295 wOBA against.

Inciarte is normally a solid play against right-pitching, and he might not crack Thursday's lineup, but he's best to pivot away from with a lefty on the bump tonight.
