The Atlanta Braves' 3.23 implied total is Friday's lowest mark by a significant margin, thanks largely to their brutal matchup with New York Mets righty Jacob deGrom.

deGrom hasn't been pitching quite as ridiculously as his 1.82 ERA might make it look, but he's still boasting a beastly 3.02 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA). He also pairs that with a career-best 30.1% strikeout rate, which comes with a huge 15.0% swinging-strike rate.

The Braves sit in the middle of the pack in wRC+ against righties this season, and they have been a particularly fantasy-friendly matchup lately, striking out a 22.0% clip against righties over the past month.

Combining his nasty numbers with a solid matchup, it's no surprise that deGrom is also numberFire's top-projected fantasy pitcher for Friday.
