The Arizona Diamondbacks' 5.59 implied total is the day's highest as they take on right-hander Bartolo Colon and the Texas Rangers.

The 45-year-old Colon has improved some of his numbers from the awful marks he posted in 2017, but his 4.76 SIERA, 13.1% strikeout rate and 43.0% hard-hit rate still fail to inspire any confidence. Especially at the hitter-friendly Globe Life Park, where he has an egregious 5.86 FIP and has allowed 2.12 home runs per nine innings this year.

Paul Goldschmidt does his best work against southpaws, but he has also been solidly productive in righty-righty matchups this year, notching a .379 wOBA and .236 ISO on a 45.2% hard-hit rate and 35.9% fly-ball rate.

On a slate with only two teams boasting implied totals above 4.70, you're going to want plenty of exposure to the Arizona offense, and if you can make the salary space, there's no better way to do that than with Goldschmidt.
