To roster an expensive starting pitcher like Bumgarner, Luis Severino, Zack Greinke, or Mike Foltynewicz, you will likely have to find some cheap plays, and Gorkys Hernandez may seem like an appealing choice. With a .189 ISO and 40.3% fly-ball rate, the outfielder could seem like a steal at $2,300.

Unfortunately, it hasn't been all rosy for Hernandez in this split, as he has posted only a .306 wOBA this season. Kershaw has also excelled against left-handed batters in 2018, limiting righty bats to a .258 wOBA and 27.5% fly-ball rate.

Despite often occupying the fifth-spot in the order and holding the platoon advantage, the cheap outfielder is one to pivot away from.
