2018 has been a major step forward for Arizona Diamondbacks starter Patrick Corbin. It's been so good, in fact, that Corbin likely warrants some NL Cy Young consideration. Over 148 2/3 innings pitched, the southpaw has posted a 31.0% strikeout rate, 26.8% fly-ball rate, and 2.89 SIERA, the last of which ranks 4th among 77 qualified starters.

Part of Corbin's success lies in his ability to limit right-handed batters, who he has held to a .244 wOBA and .307 slugging percentage this season.
