After slugging three dingers in the last four games, the price continues to rise for Tyler White, but that should only further diminish his ownership tonight. He just keeps on producing with regular playing time for the Houston Astros, and since getting called up from Triple-A at the end of July, he's produced a 37.0% hard-hit rate, 39.7% fly-ball rate, .403 xwOBA, and .385 ISO. This may not be a large sample size, but keep in mind he also posted a 43.5% hard-hit rate over 67 plate appearances in 2017, and has put up a .440 wOBA and .235 ISO in Triple-A this season.

Houston comes in with a 5.13 implied team total against Jaime Barria, but they figure to draw less attention compared to the plus matchups of the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals, or the inexpensive Minnesota Twins or Texas Rangers at Globe Life Park.

However, Barria owns a modest 4.54 SIERA and 18.4% strikeout rate, and his batted-ball marks are very homer-friendly (37.8% hard-hit rate and 39.7% ground-ball rate). The Astros hold some stacking appeal tonight, and White can definitely be a welcome part of that.
