3 MLB FanDuel Studs to Target on 9/11/18

Tonight's Coors Field game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies has an unsurprisingly high 10.5 over/under, which is tops on the slate.

Antonio Senzatela will take the mound for Colorado, and the D-Backs are favored in this one, leaving them with a big 5.42 implied total. Senzatela's 4.52 SIERA this year is right in line with his 4.55 from his 2017 rookie campaign, and his numbers are far worse at home. In 30 1/3 innings at Coors this season, Senzatela actually has a competent 4.06 xFIP, but giving up a 44.7% hard-hit rate in such a hitter-friendly environment leaves him allowing a massive .383 wOBA.

Paul Goldschmidt has generally been a killer at Coors. In 117 plate appearances on the road in Colorado, he's boasting a .510 wOBA and .430 ISO, which comes on a 49.4% hard-hit rate over the last three seasons. Same-handed matchups haven't been of any concern, with his wOBA and ISO actually increasing (to .575 and .543, respectively) in that split (83 plate appearances).

It's no surprise that numberFire's models project him as the day's top-scoring fantasy hitter.
