We don't have a ton of stud pitching options on tonight's slate, and if you're going to pay up, it makes sense to pay all the way up to the top for Carlos Carrasco.

His 3.05 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) is the lowest among all starters in action today (including the early slate), and his 28.8% strikeout rate comes in at second on the main slate. His form has really picked up recently as well, with performances of 14 and 11 strikeouts within his last four starts, boasting a 33.1% strikeout rate and 2.33 xFIP in that stretch.

He brings that into a plus matchup tonight, as the Cleveland Indians are the day's biggest favorites (-310 moneyline) with the Chicago White Sox saddled with the second-lowest implied total (3.21 runs). The White Sox also strike out at the MLB's second-highest rate (25.4%) against right-handed pitching, leaving Carrasco with a great blend of safety and upside.
