David Peralta, OF, Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks may have played their way out of the NL West chase, but that's certainly no fault of David Peralta's. Since August 1st, the outfielder owns a .407 wOBA and 59.4% hard-hit rate over 167 plate appearances.

But with a lefty on the mound, Peralta may not be a lock, facing Cole Hamels out in the desert this evening. Against lefties, Peralta has recorded a .292 wOBA and 24.6% strikeout rate, versus marks of a .402 wOBA and 18.0% strikeout rate versus righties in 2018.

Despite a recent hot run at the plate, there are better outfield options available tonight.
