Another lefty-lefty matchup that is worth highlighting (and potentially avoiding) focuses on Cody Bellinger of the Los Angeles Dodgers, a team that crushed eight home runs in an Opening Day victory.

In this situation a year ago, Bellinger was one we typically wanted to avoid. Over 210 plate appearances, the lefty posted a .297 wOBA and 25.7% strikeout rat, including a .151 ISO.

In 2018, Bellinger swatted 25 home runs, but only racked up 6 against lefties. Despite all of their pop yesterday, rostering Bellinger in this spot may be a challenge.
