5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/8/19
Mark Reynolds, 1B, Colorado Rockies
Price: $3,000
If you pay up a bit, you can also get exposure to more exciting bats in the Rockies' lineup.
Mark Reynolds doesn't get the platoon advantage against Teheran, but he's no stranger to beating up on righties.
The 2016 and 2017 campaigns saw him post wOBA's of .371 and .368 against right-handed pitching, before that mark dropped to .326 in 2018. That fall was nothing to be worried about, though, as it came with an awfully low .221 BABIP despite the fact that his 36.1% hard-hit rate in the split was actually higher than the hard-hit clip had posted in the previous two seasons. He also still had a 43.3% fly-ball rate against righties, and hard fly-ball at Coors are always going to be easy to like.
With Coors as his home field in those 2016 and 2017 seasons, Reynolds topped a .400 wOBA at home against right-handed pitching in each year, and he's priced well below his upside here.
