He's making contact less often than last year, but while a 62.3% contact rate is ugly, it's not something that puts him on a complete tier of his own at the bottom of the rankings.

A lefty-lefty matchup against Oakland's Brett Anderson doesn't do him any favors, but again, he costs $500.

Even if you think our projection of 7.8 FanDuel points is too high, a projection of even 3.0 would make him the best point-per-dollar value among today's hitters.
