On the other side of that matchup, the Rangers have a solid 5.19-run implied total against Oakland righty Mike Fiers. Fiers has an awful 5.98 SIERA to start the year, and while that might be unsustainably bad, we also haven't seen him post a SIERA better than 4.25 since 2015, so there's not too much room for optimism for his 2019 campaign.
Rougned Odor has been awful to start the year, sitting below the Mendoza line over 47 plate appearances, but he's also suffering from a .259 BABIP despite notching a solid 33.3% hard-hit rate.
He's coming off of three straight seasons with hard-hit rates north of 35.0% and fly-ball rates of at least 39.0%, so we can expect more of that high-upside power out of him moving forward.
He turned that contact into a .330 wOBA and .201 ISO against right-handed pitching last year, giving him some big upside tonight despite his slow start.
