Charlie Blackmon, OF, Colorado Rockies

Price: $3,600

The Colorado Rockies tend to roll out pitchers with fairly low fly-ball rates, as you'd expect from a team pitching in such a homer-friendly environment. The Phillies will do no such thing tonight, as righty Zach Eflin has allowed a 39.2% fly-ball rate over his career, and the Rockies have the second-highest implied total (5.44 runs) on the slate.

Elfin's numbers against left-handed bats are especially worrying, giving up a huge .367 wOBA and 4.97 xFIP on a 33.3% hard-hit and 41.1% fly-ball rate.

Charlie Blackmon has had a poor start to 2019, with a .248 wOBA and .082 ISO, but his 36.7% hard-hit rate and 38.3% fly-ball rate show that we don't need to be too concerned just yet.

Instead, we should appreciate that the slow start gets us the Rockies' leadoff hitter priced at only $3,600 with the platoon advantage at home. That's hard not to like.

Blackmon is coming off a 2018 season in which he tagged right-handed pitchers for a 37.0% hard-hit and 36.1% fly-ball rate, which translated to a .413 wOBA and .251 ISO at home. Even he doesn't climb all the way back to those levels (which are already low relative to what we saw from him the previous few seasons), there's still plenty of room for huge value at this price.
