We can expect the Pirates to deploy a lefty-heavy lineup tonight, and their 5.14-run implied total makes plenty of those bats interesting -- especially while they're shockingly cheap across the board. They have the slate's third-highest implied total and only one of the nine hitters we project to start tonight are priced above even $3,000.

Adam Frazier also gets the benefit of batting leadoff here, and he's the only leadoff hitters on any of the teams that rank top seven in implied total to be priced in the value range.

Frazier's having a quiet year, with a .304 wOBA over 99 plate appearances, but he's also coming off a 2018 campaign that saw him improve his wOBA to a career-high .343 over 352 plate appearances.

His BABIP is down to .288 (compared to a career average of .311), but with the way he's hitting the ball, his expected wOBA (xwOBA), per Baseball Savant, is actually on pace to be a career high.

He was especially good against righties last year, with a .364 wOBA and .199 ISO, and that makes him a steal at this price while batting leadoff against Sampson.

Instead of loading you up with more slides on Pittsburgh bats, here's a quick list of more cheap Pirates hitters you can pair with Frazier and Polanco. Melky Cabrera ($2,600) and Colin Moran ($2,400) both project to bat in the top five, and Cabrera hits switch while Moran gets the platoon advantage.
