Julio Teheran, SP, Atlanta Braves

After a few recent starts with some high strikeout totals, Julio Teheran of the Atlanta Braves squares off with a San Diego Padres team that has struggled at the dish, carrying a .291 wOBA and 26.9% strikeout rate.

Teheran owns a strong 25.4% strikeout rate, and at only $8,400, he's worth checking out. But there's some major warning signs here.

Despite his juicy matchup and strong strikeout rate, Teheran is dishing out free passes at a very high rate (12.0% walk rate), and that does not bode well as he's giving up a 40.9% hard-hit rate and 39.5% fly-ball rate.

Teheran participates in a contest with one of the lowest over/unders on the slate (8.5 runs), but there's too much risk here to roster him in anything other than GPPs.
