Tommy La Stella, 3B, Los Angeles Angels

Price: $3,000

Tommy La Stella's in an interesting spot here. He's producing very well in 2019, but typically I'd be avoiding him because he's due for some serious regression and his price-tag isn't especially low. With only two offenses that are really viable today, he's worth a look, however.

He's been producing huge numbers over 95 plate appearances in 2019, with a .383 wOBA and .275 ISO. That's still a small sample and those numbers are so far above his marks last year (.300 and .065) and his career averages (.321 and .117) that we shouldn't expect them to hold up.

They're coming on some great contact, though, with a 46.7% hard-hit rate that crushes his previous career-best (32.2%) and a 36.0% fly-ball rate that sits over five percentage points above his career average.

La Stella isn't going to keep going yard on north of 25% of his fly-balls, even with this kind of contact, so right away we can expect his production to drop moving forward. But with this contact somewhat backing things up, his production can drop and still remain at a solid level, which is what we'll bank on here.

He also draws that same plus matchup against Sanchez that we just outlined for Bour, and he has the platoon advantage to boot.
