The Orioles have one of the higher implied totals on the slate, and their whole offense is fairly well positioned against Kendall Graveman and the Oakland A's today.

Graveman has a career 4.19 SIERA, along with a 16.0 percent strikeout rate and 4.44 xFIP against left-handed hitters.

Pedro Alvarez has disappointed to start the season, but his .244 BABIP and 6.7 percent home run-to-fly ball ratio are both well below his career averages. It seems that we can chalk up at least part of his struggles to variance. He has still hit for a career .340 wOBA and .226 ISO against right-handed pitchers, and hitting at home tonight in one of the most lefty-friendly parks in Camden Yards puts him an a great spot.
