4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/28/16
Brian Dozier, 2B, Minnesota Twins
FanDuel Price: $2,700
Brian Dozier has been quiet this year, but there isn't any reason to worry about it just yet.
His 26.9% hard-hit rate is only barely below his career average, but his .218 BABIP is by far the worst mark of his career. His 8.3% home-run-to-fly-ball ratio is also well below his career average. The low production so far has his salary nice and cheap while he still offers his usual upside.
Dozier also owns a career .359 wOBA and .220 ISO against left-handed pitchers, making tonight's matchup with Wade Miley an appealing one. Miley has allowed a .338 wOBA to righties to start the season after allowing a .331 to right-handers in 2015. Miley posted a 4.16 xFIP against righties last season and is sporting a 4.18 xFIP versus right-handers so far this year.
