Colorado’s home series with the Cincinnati Reds has been pretty crazy. There have been 49 combined runs scored through the first three games, with the lowest scoring game being Wednesday’s 7-2 Reds’ win. While this series has been nuts, the last Coors Field game with fewer than seven total runs came back on May 10th.

Charlie Blackmon has five hits in this series, three of which are home runs. Colorado is facing off with Cincinnati righty Alfredo Simon, and Blackmon checks in as our top-ranked hitter for the day with a projected point total of 16.25 points.

Nothing about Simon’s performance this season hints at anything other than a bloodbath tonight. He owns a 4.99 SIERA, 13.5% strikeout rate and 9.2% walk rate. It's gonna be ugly. The Rockies’ leadoff hitter, Blackmon, is atop a lineup with an insane implied total of 6.51 runs, and he owns a career .344 wOBA versus right-handers. His beard game is on point, too.
