The Dodgers are up against San Francisco Giants' righty Jake Peavy tonight. Peavy's performance has been trending downwards for years now. His SIERA has climbed in each of the last five seasons, failing to post one below 4.00 since 2013. His 4.56 SIERA this year is the worst of his career.

Chase Utley has been producing well from the plate this season, recording a .331 wOBA, which is on pace to be his best since 2013. He has been especially good against right-handed pitching, with a .288/.391/.442 slash. Against Peavy, who is allowing a .418 wOBA with a 5.79 xFIP against left-handed hitters on the season, Utley is in a great spot.
