Chris Davis has been on a tear lately -- from June 6th to June 12th, he hit a home run in five straight games. This power surge lifted his 2016 splits versus right-handers to elite levels: .267 ISO, .369 wOBA, 43.3 percent hard-hit rate.

Tonight he’ll face Aaron Sanchez, who has allowed a hard-hit rate 11 points higher to left-handed batters at 33.9 percent. Unsurprisingly, lefties have accounted for 75 percent of the home runs that Sanchez has allowed this season.

Some DFS players may shy away from Davis due to Sanchez’s 50 percent groundball rate against left-handed batters, but that hasn’t stopped Chris Davis from hitting home runs. While a small sample, Chris Davis is 6-for-10 with 3 home runs in his career off Sanchez.

Given his recent performance and his history with Sanchez, Davis is a good bet to hit his 17th home run of the season tonight.
