Kike Hernandez has been floating around minimum salary all season, and when he's up against a left-handed pitcher, he tends to offer some solid value.

He hasn't been as productive this season as he was through his first two years, but has managed a .218/.317/.491 slash and a .340 wOBA against lefties on the year with a huge 39.5% hard-hit rate. His career numbers against lefties are pretty staggering when you consider he's only $2,100 tonight as he owns a .406 wOBA and .258 ISO versus southpaws.

He has a good matchup tonight against lefty Jeff Locke, who is on pace for one of the worst seasons of his career. He boasts a 5.22 SIERA and 12.1% strikeout rate.He has been struggling against right-handed hitters in particular, posting a 5.20 xFIP against opposite-sided hitters, meaning this is a terrific spot to target Hernandez.
