Chris Iannetta, C, Seattle Mariners

Chris Iannetta has bounced back from a down year from the dish last season and is making some of the best contact of his career with a 34.9 percent hard-hit rate that is his best since 2008. He has been doing very strong work against left-handed hitting in particular with a .299/.407/.468 slash and a .382 wOBA.

He has a matchup with Jon Niese tonight that is lot more favorable than it has been in past seasons. Niese's 4.27 SIERA last year was his worst since 2009, and he's doing even worse than that this year with a 4.48.

Right-handed hitters have been giving him fits, with a .386 wOBA and 4.51 xFIP, making this a great spot for Iannetta.
