Randal Grichuk has shown a lot of promise to start his young career, hitting .253/.306/.487 with a .338 wOBA, .234 ISO and 37.1% hard-hit rate. He has been especially good against right-handed pitching, as his wOBA jumps to .360 and his ISO climbs to .257 against righties.

Taking the mound across from him today will be the right-handed Colin Rea, who has a shaky 4.73 SIERA through 17 games this season after posting a 4.13 SIERA in six starts in his 2015 rookie campaign.

This is a great spot for Grichuk, and getting him at this low price is hard to pass up.
