On the other side of the Orioles-Twins matchup, Kyle Gibson pitching means that Orioles hitters are in a decent spot, as well.

Gibson has posted a SIERA above 4.00 in each of his four years in the majors, and he is sporting a 4.51 SIERA this season. He also has a 4.33 xFIP against left-handed hitters.

Hyun Soo Kim has shown a lot of promise in his first season and is currently sporting a .376 wOBA. It's a small sample size of 167 plate appearances, but he has been outstanding against right-handed pitching, slashing .351/.425/.480 with a .395 wOBA, 9.6% walk rate and 12.6% strikeout rate.

With that kind of production and a matchup against the struggling Gibson, he should be in for a solid performance tonight.
