Astros lefties will be salivating a bit today as they draw a matchup against R.A. Dickey.

Dickey is on pace to finish with a SIERA above 4.75 for his second straight year (and above 4.00 for his fifth time in six years). He has allowed 1.78 home runs per nine innings this season, his highest full-season clip, and he has an especially bad 2.01 home runs per nine against left-handed hitters. He has also allowed a .364 wOBA with a 5.27 xFIP against lefties on the season.

Colby Rasmus has hit righties well over his career, slashing .252/.318/.459 with a .207 ISO. While his numbers this season haven't been great, he is still sporting a 34.3% hard-hit rate and only a 10.8% soft-hit rate against right-handed pitching. He has big upside against a struggling righty like Dickey.
