Surrounded by a lineup of relatively inept hitters, Freddie Freeman's upside will always be a little capped, but he's a strong hitter with a good matchup today.

Freeman is sporting a .358 wOBA and a career-high .224 ISO through 468 plate appearances this season. He has done especially strong work against right-handed pitching over his career, slashing .295/.376/.501 with a .376 wOBA and 38.7% hard-hit rate, making his matchup with Carlos Martinez an appealing one.

Martinez is sporting a career-worst 4.13 SIERA on the season, while allowing a .322 wOBA with a 4.54 xFIP against left-handed hitters. Even without a strong lineup to help with his fantasy production, Freeman is in a great spot here.
