Kenta Maeda doesn't have the strikeout ability -- or ceiling -- of Scherzer. But he offers $3,000 in savings and is in a fantastic spot for his home meeting with the lowly Philadelphia Phillies.

Philadelphia -- whose 3.0 implied total is the lowest of the slate -- ranks 29th in wOBA (.294), 23rd in homers (112), 29th in walk rate (6.7%), and 24th in ISO (.146).

Maeda is having a very productive rookie campaign, sporting a 3.60 SIERA with a 24.8% strikeout rate and 6.4% walk rate. Maeda was lights out in July, recording a 28.4% strikeout rate and 3.7% walk rate. His strikeout rate inches up to 26.1% at pitcher-friendly Dodger Stadium, which ranks 27th in park factor.
