Matt Wieters isn't having a great year from the dish, but with the second-lowest BABIP and third-highest hard-hit rate of his eight-year major league career, his production isn't too much of a concern.

Wieters has done his best work against left-handed pitching over his career, slashing .270/.332/.468, and that's an encouraging line for his matchup with Ross Detwiler tonight.

Detwiler only managed a 4.60 ERA through 12 Triple-A starts with the Cleveland Indians, and he has a 6.21 SIERA through 7 major league appearances. His career-long numbers don't inspire much confidence either. He owns a 4.21 ERA and 4.60 SIERA, while allowing a .355 wOBA to right-handed hitters.
