David Ortiz is our top-ranked hitter for his home matchup with Nathan Eovaldi.

Eovaldi has struggled to a 4.31 SIERA, and he’s getting torched by left-handers, who have put up a .367 wOBA against him with a 36.6% hard-hit rate. Eovaldi’s strikeout rate plummeted to 14.6% in July while his walk rate rose to 11.4%.

Oritz has been dominant at home versus righties this season, posting a monster .508 wOBA with a 17.3% walk rate, 42.6% hard-hit rate, and 47.1% fly-ball rate. Ortiz’s pace has slowed a bit since a smoking-hot start, but he still racked up a 40.5% hard-hit rate and 48.1% fly-ball rate in July.

Fenway Park checks in second in park factor, and Boston’s implied total of 5.33 runs is the second-highest mark of the slate.
