4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 8/21/18

Stacking can be a controversial topic in many daily fantasy sports, but you can count baseball as a glaring exception. Here, it's universal.

Using multiple players on the same team on a given day presents you with the opportunity to double dip. If one of your players hits an RBI double, there's a good chance he drove in another one of your guys. When you get the points for both the run and the RBI, you'll be climbing the leaderboards fast.

Milwaukee Brewers

Sal Romano has allowed 1.87 home runs per 9 innings after surrendering 1.97 in 2017. Those come as a result of a deadly combination of power (36.6% hard-hit rate) and contact (7.7% swinging-strike rate) he has allowed to opposing hitters.

Against righties like Romano, the Milwaukee Brewers are really dangerous, as they rank ninth on the season in hard-hit rate (37.8%) against right-handed pitching.

Christian Yelich ($4,100) has been a stud in his first year in Milwaukee. He has a 46.6% hard-hit rate and 137 wRC+ this year. Meanwhile, Jesus Aguilar ($3,900) has come out of nowhere to become one of baseball's most feared sluggers. He crushes baseballs to the tune of a 43.8% fly-ball rate and 45.0% hard-hit rate.

Travis Shaw ($3,800) crushes right-handed pitching. He has a 16.6% strikeout rate, 47.0% fly-ball rate, 41.8% hard-hit rate, and 132 wRC+ in that split this season. Fellow lefty bat Mike Moustakas ($3,700) is a great guy to pair with Shaw in this Milwaukee lineup, as he also crushes righty pitching. Against them, he has a 15.2% strikeout rate, 49.4% fly-ball rate, and 45.3% hard-hit rate.

Lorenzo Cain ($3,600) does it all. He has a 15.8% strikeout rate, 38.7% hard-hit rate and 23 steals in 107 games. And Ryan Braun ($2,900) is too good of a hitter to be priced below $3,000. He has a 19.5% strikeout rate and 38.1% hard-hit rate this year.
