FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Wednesday 9/26/18
On Wednesday, we get one last chance to roster a Cy Young contender, while it might also be tempting to use one of the second half's hottest hurlers at Coors Field. The Colorado Rockies headline the bats for the third straight slate, but the Boston Red Sox, Cleveland Indians, and Los Angeles Angels are also in plus spots.
Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.
On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

High-Priced Pitchers
Jacob deGrom ($12,300 on FanDuel): Old school curmudgeons will grumble about the lack of wins, but anyone with a clue realizes that Jacob deGrom has been absolutely dominant this year, and there shouldn't be any hesitation in using him against the Atlanta Braves in what's expected to be his final start of 2018. The Braves' offense has essentially been average in the second half (100 wRC+), and only draw a tiny 3.13 implied total against deGrom and his spectacular 2.83 SIERA, 32.0% strikeout rate, and 5.7% walk rate. With Chris Sale still expected to be capped at around 90 pitches against the Baltimore Orioles, deGrom is the easy choice as tonight's top arm.
