FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Friday 9/28/18
The MLB regular season is rapidly coming to a close, with Friday's 13-game slate marking one of our last opportunities to play a true daily fantasy baseball main slate. And it's a good one, with strong options on both sides of the coin, so be sure not to sit this one out. Gerrit Cole leads the way again on the pitching side, while the Colorado Rockies headlines tonight's top offenses by a wide margin.
Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.
On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.

High-Priced Pitchers
Gerrit Cole ($11,400 on FanDuel): With last night's game in Baltimore predictably getting rained out, Gerrit Cole will instead make his final regular season start tonight. Of course, nothing has changed here, as Cole is still in a fantastic spot against an inferior Baltimore Orioles squad that has struggled down the stretch, posting just an 82 wRC+ and 23.9% strikeout rate over the last 30 days. While Cole actually has some competition on the mound compared to yesterday, he remains the top option on the board, with a stellar 2.87 SIERA and league-best 35.1% strikeout rate among qualified starters.
