On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.
Pitchers to Target
Hyun-jin Ryu ($10,000 on FanDuel): Given that the Brewers are going with a bullpen game, and the Rockies are starting modest right-hander Antonio Senzatela ($6,400), the more intriguing pitching matchup lies decidedly in the other game. Hyun-jin Ryu may have missed a good chunk of the season to injury, but he enjoyed the best campaign of his career when he was able to pitch, posting a 1.97 ERA, 3.18 SIERA, 27.5% strikeout rate, and 4.6% walk rate over 15 starts. While the discrepancy between his ERA and SIERA suggests some good fortune, that's just nitpicking over these fantastic marks. For DFS purposes, the one true concern is Ryu's low pitch counts, as he's exceeded 90 pitches only twice this year. But considering the limited alternatives on the slate and shorter leashes in the postseason, that's probably less of a worry tonight. The Braves have a mere 3.09 implied total, and Ryu is your top option on this two-game slate.
