4 Daily Fantasy Baseball Stacks for 5/15/19
Three out of the four stacks from yesterday's piece performed up to expectations, so let's hope for more of the same on Wednesday's eight-game slate. The Houston Astros once again show the highest implied total by a wide margin at 6.35 runs.
Each day here on numberFire, we'll go through four offenses ripe for the stacking. They could have a great matchup, be in a great park, or just have a lot of quality sticks in the lineup, but these are the offenses primed for big days that you may want a piece of.

Now, let's get to the stacks.
Houston Astros
The Astros are sporting an implied total above six runs for the second straight night, and especially after racking up 11 runs and 3 bombs last night, they'll undoubtedly popular, but we shouldn't be shocked if they come through yet again against left-hander Gregory Soto.
Soto just made his MLB debut over the weekend, and considering he had never pitched above Double-A prior to that, it went about as well as expected -- over four innings, Soto allowed seven runs and nine hits while only tallying one strikeout.
Despite the call-up on limited experience, he also owns a fairly modest minor league track record. Across 113 1/3 Single-A innings (including 23 starts) in 2018, he only posted a 4.49 xFIP, 22.2% strikeout rate, and 13.5% walk rate, hardly the types of numbers indicating someone is ready for the big leagues. And in his three Double-A starts this year, the strikeout rate has remained stuck at 22.2% with a 4.50 FIP and 3.37 xFIP.
Given those unimposing marks and a beleaguered Detroit Tigers bullpen, and it's easy to see these Astros continuing their hot-hitting ways. That means another dose of George Springer ($4,600), Alex Bregman ($4,400), and Carlos Correa ($3,900) again, while the bottom half of the order offers plenty of value, including potential punt plays in Tyler White ($2,300) and Jake Marisnick ($2,500).
