Wednesday's main slate checks in with nine games, and unlike yesterday, our pitching options are a bit more straightforward this time around. For our bats, the Diamondbacks and Rockies are once again in play at Coors Field, but they're hardly alone, with the Phillies, Braves, Orioles, White Sox, and Tigers in good spots.

High-Priced Pitchers

Blake Snell ($11,800 on FanDuel): You don't have to look hard to find the top hurler of the evening, with Blake Snell easily having the best combination of talent and matchup on the slate. Amazingly, Snell has actually produced a better SIERA (2.81) and strikeout rate (36.5%) than last year's Cy Young campaign while also showing improvements in walk rate (7.0%) and hard-hit rate (28.3%). The Blue Jays aren't likely to put up much resistance, either, as their active roster has produced the third-worst wRC+ (74) and eighth-highest strikeout rate (25.6%) against southpaws in 2019, and they were also below average in the split last season. Toronto has a middling 3.00 implied total, and it would hardly be shocking to see Snell emerge with the highest score on the night.
