FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Thursday 6/13/19
We often get rather small main slates on Thursdays, so it's a welcome sight to see nine games going this evening. There's a solid group of pitchers on the mound, too, and you can make a good argument for using just about all of the higher-priced options. Hitting-wise, Coors Field is in play as usual, and the Yankees and Red Sox are also in plus spots.
Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.
On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.
Pitchers to Target
High-Priced Pitchers
Jacob deGrom ($10,200 on FanDuel): Jacob deGrom draws a fairly neutral opponent in the Cardinals, but as arguably the most talented arm on the board at home in the friendly confines of Citi Field, he's up against just a slate-low 3.32 implied total. Although deGrom hasn't been able to match last year's masterful campaign, his velocity remains just as strong as 2018, and he's still showing a rock-solid 3.43 SIERA, 29.8% strikeout rate, and 6.4% walk rate that's reminiscent of his 2017 season. While he's eclipsed 50 FanDuel points only three times in 13 starts, much of that can be blamed on another year of poor luck in wins -- he only has one win over his last 11 outings. According to numberFire's projections, he's the top hurler on the night.
