FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Helper: Friday 6/21/19
On a 14-game main slate chock full of big-name arms, there are a handful with fantastic matchups that stand out in particular. And don't you worry, there will be offense aplenty, too, with the Rangers and Twins amongst the teams with the highest implied totals tonight.
Our daily helper is available every day to analyze FanDuel's main slate and help give you a starting point when you're building lineups. Be sure to also incorporate our great tools into your research process. Whether you're looking for daily projections, the latest starting lineups and weather, or batting and pitching heat maps to find the best matchups -- we've got you covered! And don't forget to take a listen to The Solo Shot podcast with Jim Sannes, who breaks down the MLB daily fantasy slate each day.
On that note, let's highlight some of the top options for today's FanDuel main slate.
Pitchers to Target
High-Priced Pitchers
Chris Sale ($12,000 on FanDuel): Arguably the best pitcher in baseball when he's right, Chris Sale's early-season woes are long forgotten at this point, as he's rattled off double-digit punchouts in nine of his last 11 games, posting a ridiculous 2.37 SIERA, 41.4% strikeout rate, and 5.7% walk rate over that span. The price tag may be sky-high, but so too is his ceiling these days, already exceeding 60 FanDuel points three times (67, 70, 73), with only one of those scores benefiting from a win. Good luck to the Blue Jays trying to handle the lanky lefty. The Jays have an active roster that's below average against left-handers (95 wRC+) and strikes out at a 25.1% clip.
