Pitchers to Target
High-Priced Pitchers
Gerrit Cole ($12,300 on FanDuel): We get quite the pitching slate on Tuesday night -- especially this late in the season -- and you could easily argue the merits of half a dozen hurlers tonight. But Gerrit Cole still reigns supreme, high price tag and all, leading all qualified starters in both strikeout rate (39.1%) and SIERA (2.70) this season. He hasn't dropped below 50 FanDuel points in seven straight starts and has exceeded 60 points four times over that span. If all that wasn't enough, he faces the Mariners tonight, whose active roster owns a 25.8% strikeout rate versus righties. Not only does Seattle draw a tiny 3.04 implied total, but Cole and the Astros are massive -460 favorites to emerge victorious.
