Red Sox's Chris Sale was sick before last start
Boston Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale was dealing with an illness leading into his last start, manager Alex Cora said Tuesday.
This may explain why Sale had a career-low fastball velocity last Tuesday against the Oakland Athletics, mostly working in the high-80s. Cora added that Sale wasn't able to throw on the side between his first and second starts, but the 30-year-old left-hander appears to be back on track, as he was able to do so heading into Tuesday afternoon's start against the Toronto Blue Jays.
numberFire's models expect Sale to score 40.9 FanDuel points on Tuesday. He costs $10,000.
