Pittsburgh's Jameson Taillon (elbow) placed on the Injured List
Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Jameson Taillon will miss at least four weeks after suffering a right elbow flexor strain.
What It Means:
Taillon will be shut down for at least a month despite his MRI revealing his elbow's UCL was still intact. Look for an update on his return after Taillon receives a second opinion next week.
In 37.1 innings pitched this season, Taillon produced a 4.10 ERA with 30 strikeouts.
