Athletics' Frankie Montas gets 80-game PED ban
Oakland Athletics pitcher Frankie Montas has been suspended 80 games for violating MLB's Performance Enhancing Drug policy.
What It Means:
Montas tested positive for Ostarine, which he alleges came from a contaminated over-the-counter supplement.
Through 15 starts this season, Montas has totaled 97 strikeouts and 9 wins, with a 2.70 ERA.
