Travis Demeritte sitting for Atlanta Monday
The Atlanta Braves did not list Travis Demeritte in their starting lineup for Monday's game against the Philadelphia Phillies.
What It Means:
Demeritte will sit out Monday's game while the Braves try William Contreras in left field. Contreras will bat second while Ronald Acuna Jr. moves to right field and Marcell Ozuna starts at designated hitter.
Demeritte has been going through a real cold streak at the plate, failing to make it to base in any of his past 28 plate appearances. Hopefully the game off will help him get back on track.
